Eiffel Tower Spark

Captured after dusk on a warm summer evening, just as the recent addition to the global icons 20,000 flash bulbs were lit presenting a sparkly appearance every hour, on the hour. I recall the crowds within the Champ de Mars (Field of Mars) lying on the green lawns watching from afar the usually lit tower and then the sound of awe and then silence as the flashing display begins. With image copyright uncertainty surrounding the tower by night, these images are a real treat.
